Born of Ale and heavy breathing, Macklehat Merffy remains stuck in adolescence making as much fun-time musics as possible. Off-kilter antics mixed with creatively reborn cover songs and originally flavored homegrown tunes keeps these long time friends as busy as a one-armed paper hanger. Styles borrowed from Traditional Folk, American Country, and Irish influences, as well as some modern-ish Rock and Blues, tend to round out an evening with Macklehat Merffy. But you'll never know what they'll blurt out at you, so always be vigilant.

Captain / Owner:
"Buck" Michael Kramer
First Mate / Event Coordinator:
To be determined.
To be determined.
Warren, PA native, Michael Kramer, known to friends and family as Buck (due to being born on the first day of Buck Season), has been drumming since the age of 5. He has played and sang in various bands over the years. Most recently, The American Ride Band from Erie and Crossfire from Warren. He is endorsed by the cymbal company, T-Cymbals handmade in Turkey.
Buck is also a freelance graphic artist. He graduated from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh with an Associate Degree in Visual Communications. His artwork and services can be seen at www.MichaelKramerGraphics.com.
Why The Chadakoin Club?
As a drummer/singer who has hauled his drumkit around for many years, Buck grew tired of playing in places where the live music is treated as an afterthought. Throw in a dark corner and expected to sound amazing. So he decided he wanted to open a place where live music is the main focus, not just the amount of liquor sold.
Deb Yoakum, raised in Western New York, grew up listening to everything from Classic Country to Rock-N-Roll. Her passion for music was fueled with a recent career in radio, with a focus on the artists themselves who fill our air waves. Deb has continued to support the many talented individuals who bring us great entertainment by hitting the shows, interviewing and writing the entertainment article entitled Escape to the Music… This music feature in WNY’s own Hard Tales Magazine was developed and is worked up with the help of Michael Kramer Graphics. Pick up your free copy right here at “The Club” or visit www.HardTalesMagazine.com!
Deb met Buck when he was drumming for a local band she was promoting. They quickly realized they shared passions for our music industry and its artists… local, regional and national. Touring with a regional band, it became more and more apparent to them there was a need for venues that would truly showcase and enrich live entertainment, the way it was meant to be. Additionally, they knew a way had to be found to market entertainment the way it deserves.
Why The Chadakoin Club?
When Buck asked Deb if she wanted to open a place where music and its artists would be the focus, there was no hesitation.
